Sam and Chantel lead taught us what a Conservation District was, and the purpose of Americorps! We spent 3 hours this morning removing Mulch coverings from a house out in Pullman. Got a good workout in and had an awesome time working with the Palouse Conservation District!

The group was awesome and it was fun to talk and get to know everyone while taking in some fresh air and doing a little bit of work.

A fun and interesting way of giving back to the community as well as environment, was fun to learn more about the plants and that it is important to maintain support for their most successful growth.
