About
If you want to make a difference in your community and you're an animal lover or want more experience with animals, then you are more then welcome to become a volunteer at our shelter. Pick up a volunteer form at the shelter and become an angel for our animals.
- You will be able to walk our dogs and let them run free in our closed-in dog park.
- Our cats love to purr and enjoy the company from people. Take some time and play with them.
- Some of our animals can use some grooming, and you can bathe them and make them feel comfortable again.
- In spring and summertime we go to several locations to do adoptions and fundraising, and you could go with us to assist.
- If you love to take pictures, you can take pictures of our animals so they can go on Petfinder and our website.

Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:
- Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.
- Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.
