Applications are now open to be part of UCA's Big Event Committee! This committee plans the student-led service day, The Big Event, on March 13th, 2021, and will also come up with creative ways to promote virtual and remote service opportunities this fall.
If you have a passion for community engagement, service, and helping other students get involved and excited to serve, join us! Big Event Committee members gain skills in fundraising, donor relations, volunteer recruitment, volunteer management, communication, social media management, community engagement, community outreach, collaboration, and much more.

Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:
- Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.
- Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.
